Hi, I'm Alex Chen — a software developer and a bit of a math procrastinator. I've spent years writing code, but when it comes to everyday math like splitting a dinner bill or calculating how many tiles I need for a bathroom renovation, I always end up fumbling with my phone's calculator, redoing the same steps three times.
I built QuickMath because I got tired of that feeling. And I figured if I — someone who works with numbers for a living — still struggles with everyday math, there must be plenty of other people who feel the same way.
When I searched for online calculators, I found two kinds: the ones buried in ad-heavy, slow-loading pages, and the ones that required signing up for a "free trial." Neither was what I wanted. I wanted something clean, fast, and private — like a piece of paper on a desk, but smarter.
So I made it. No ads, no sign-ups, no tracking cookies. Just tools that do one thing well: take an annoying real-world math problem and give you the answer instantly.
I'm continuously adding new calculators based on what people ask for. If there's a math problem you'd like solved, let me know.
"QuickMath started as a solution to my own laziness. Turns out, a lot of people don't want to do math they don't have to. Welcome aboard."
